Who can apply?

This course aims to create an opportunity for the academically less competent individuals to acquire a more flexible route for Technical & Vocational Training. With the above understanding, MVDTI has resolved as an institution to provide the local community with an affordable yet effective technical and vocational education & training (TVET) familiarization and career guidance program. This will be achieved through a two (2) months short course in which the students will be exposed to various TVET courses in our government & private vocational education and training centers (VTC’s) across the country.

  • Young adults with low passes in grade 10 and grade12, most of whom are hardly competitive enough to secure University and VTC shortlisting for studies.
  • Laymen (women) in Industry who have experience at work, but lacking professional qualification certification for them to compete for promotional posts in their fields of specialization
  • Adult qualified academics who wish to acquire, in a short period, general technical knowledge & skill in any field under the TVET program of Namibia
