Kunene Power Station Christian Academy- Everything you need to know about their 2021 enrollment

In a year where children’s education across the world has suffered, there is no better gift to give your child than the gift of education in a well reputable primary school. Kunene Power Station Christian Academy offers the best education in an engaging manner.

Established in 2015 by Joan Louw Namupa and William Louw, the Opuwo-based primary school has a well-earned reputation for providing a caring environment to kids and excellent early childhood learning with its committed staff who also have high levels of expertise.

Biashara newspaper interviewed Buta K Domingos, the school principal who gave some insights on the school and their 2021 admission process. Domingos added that their learners are taught to master caring and love, leadership skills and advocates of God’s servants through doing right at all times within themselves and others.

“Since we are a Christian-based school, we aim to combat wrong influence such as peer pressure, teenager’s challenges, and bad ethics with Christian morals,” Domingos said.

Kunene Power Station Christian Academy’s mission is to educate and empower the Namibian child for a better future. They also want to create great leaders at the same time demonstrating the love and caring God to their learners.

Their medium of instruction is English. The school teaches learners the original and fluent British English. “We offer English as a 1st language, and Portuguese as a foreign language. With mathematics now a must pass for all grades, we offer it on high level from grade 1 to Grade 7. We offer face to face lessons with our learners, meaning the learner is supervised by a teacher 100% due to compulsory 15 learners per class,” Domingos added.

Their education system assists children in building confidence and creating a love of learning, they help children prepare for the transition to other school phases and then prepare them for tertiary education and beyond.

They only take 15 learners per class and due to this limitation, learners will be recruited on the first come first served.
