“Public procurement is one of the areas that are prone to corruption however, our department is committed to ensuring its procurement processes work effectively and fairly for all parties”, Kuugongelwa mentioned. Kuugongelwa added this started back in the day when it was regulated by the tender board. It has previously been criticized for its lack of transparency and accountability.

The presentations offered guidance to the key concepts and outlined the process for filing and reviewing complaints that arise in connection with circumstances where a tender has been unfairly awarded and one needs to file a complaint to solve such disputes.
