Go-Drop Logistics is a motorcycle delivery company established in 2020 during a time when Namibia was sent into its second lockdown. Go-Drop logistics’ founder Mr Tanson Elias started the company with the main aim of providing quick and reliable delivery services to anyone in need of urgent delivery services, especially at a time when people were forced to stay at home.
The business comprises of three employees and the owner who sometimes assists in the day-to-day activities of the business. They have a total of three fully operational motorbikes that they use for delivery and are operated by 2 of its employees and the owner. The owner runs the business from his home in Katutura as there is no standing office as of yet.
Go-Drop Logistics is reliable to a loyal and supportive standing clientele that assures the daily running of the business. In addition to that, the company is open to new customers. So far, the delivery of packages is only available in Windhoek, with operational hours between 07h00 am to 19h00 pm every day.
“My vision for go drop is to be able to cater delivery services of all sorts and sizes of goods across Namibia as well as for it to grow to be one of Namibia’s leading delivery companies”. Said Mr Elias. There is no doubt that business is going well for Go Drop Logistics and perhaps in the future it will be able to help people move furniture when moving from an old house to a new one or from one town to another. But at the moment the focus is only to help people move their packages from one place to the final destination.
