Bernadette’s Collection

Online business is the new norm for most people now. Whether you are selling shoes, bags, hair, perfume, clothes, accessories, electronics, etc., all one needs is a reliable supplier.

Many people enter the online business as a side “hustle” to add more to the table than what they already have, for some it is a way of making a living and for others, salary is just not enough.

Grace Lipenda is the gal behind Bernadette’s Collection, which she brought into existence late last year (2020), she took the opportunity to make ends meet as she felt that her salary was just not enough to maintain her and her family.

In most cases, her clients order products on deposit at affordable prices. However, she only places orders for products that are on-demand as this is the only way she generates her profit. “I mean I won’t really make much if I only place an order for one product or one client, I place orders depending on what a lot of clients want,” she says.

The challenge many people face in this business is delayed arrivals or when the goods arrive, it does not look as presented in the picture. In such a business, it is usually logical that one tries out their product first before it is advertised to the audience.

Most of her products for example her perfumes usually come from South Africa. She says products from South Africa may arrive within three to seven days depending on the logistics. The products from China take a little longer and are sometimes harder to determine when they will be arriving; they take about 30 days or more depending on where the supplier is.

Her focus now is clothes, hair, perfumes and shoes. “Clients are there, there is always someone looking for something especially this time of year because it is wedding season, students are graduating and so many end year functions coming up” she added. Bernadette’s Collection is currently based in Walvis Bay but their services are available countrywide.

She prefers her clients to order on deposit as at times most people order products but don’t show up to claim their order or when the product arrives it is not of the clients liking. Deposits on order assures security on the goods for the clients, it is almost like a win-win situation on both sides. Deposits also do, however, guarantee that the client will collect the goods. If you want high quality at an affordable price, Bernadette’s Collection is your plug.
