The youth is one of the largest populations in the nation, there is an exceptional need for young people to take an active role in shaping the future. The Global Shapers Windhoek hub is a hub filled with young, dynamic individuals who aim at making positive impacts on global agendas and their existing societies.
The Global Shapers Windhoek Hub engages in projects that address the needs of people in the community, to help build an inclusive community-based society. Recently the hub raised donations of food items and clothing to the Megameno Children’s home in the heart of Katutura, a center that harbors orphans and vulnerable children. Moreover, shapers aim at impacting society through education by educating people in the society in different areas and aspects of life. Under their project Shape skills, shapers give informative sessions on different topics to help increase as a knowledge-based society.

Their main focus is on projects that will have sustainable impacts. Shapers aim to interact with various stakeholders at various levels, share insights, make impacts and inspire others to do the same thing.
